Double Major / Minor Application
The application conditions for our Double Major and Minor programs, where you can develop yourself in different disciplines and earn a second diploma or certificate during your undergraduate education, are detailed below.
Double Major Program (ÇAP)
Program is Free of Charge
Double Major Program (ÇAP): It is a program that enables students who successfully carry out their undergraduate programs to obtain a bachelor's/associate degree diploma by taking courses simultaneously in a second undergraduate or associate degree program of their interest.
Procedures are carried out within the framework of the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions" and the Altınbaş University "Double Major and Minor Program Directive".

Application Conditions
- A student can apply to the second major diploma program at the beginning of the third semester at the earliest and at the beginning of the fifth semester at the latest in four-year programs; at the beginning of the seventh semester in five-year programs; at the beginning of the ninth semester in six-year programs.
- The quota for double major students is determined by the university senates, provided that the grade point average (GPA) in the major diploma program is at least 3.00 out of 4.00 and the success ranking in the relevant class is not less than 20%.
- Except for law, medicine, health, and engineering programs, the quotas for double major programs are determined to be not less than 20% of the program's quota. Students whose GPA is at least 3.00 but who are not in the top 20% can also apply, provided they have a placement score not less than the base score of the double major program in the relevant year.
- In order to apply to the double major diploma program, the student must have successfully completed all the courses taken in the major diploma program until the semester of application.
Minor Program
Program is Free of Charge
Minor Program: It is a program that enables students who successfully carry out their undergraduate programs to obtain a certificate by taking courses simultaneously in a second undergraduate program of their interest.
Procedures are carried out within the framework of the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions" and the Altınbaş University "Double Major and Minor Program Directive".

Application Conditions
- The student can apply to the minor program at the beginning of the third semester at the earliest and at the beginning of the sixth semester at the latest of the major undergraduate program.
- Students who have successfully completed all credit courses in the undergraduate program taken up to the semester of application can apply to the minor program.
- The student's GPA in the major program must be at least 2.50 out of 4.00 at the time of application.
- The admission process is completed with the recommendation of the applied department and the decision of the relevant faculty executive board.
