Erasmus+ and Exchange Programmes

Erasmus+ is a European Union programme designed to encourage student and academic staff mobility and strengthen cross-border cooperation among European universities. Within the scope of the programme, grant support can be provided for student exchange and internship activities.

Who Can Apply?

Students studying in the 28 member states of the European Union, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, and Turkey, have the right to apply for Erasmus+ grants. In order for students to study abroad under the Erasmus programme, there must be an inter-institutional agreement between our university and the host university.

Erasmus Grant

One of the most important advantages of the Erasmus programme is that it offers the opportunity to receive an "Erasmus Grant" to contribute to accommodation, transportation, and similar expenses. Grant amounts vary depending on the economic country group of the destination country.

Aim of the Programme

The aim of the Erasmus+ and Exchange Programmes is to strengthen cooperation with universities in and outside Europe, support internationalization in higher education, and contribute to the academic, professional, and cultural development of students and staff. Mobility activities allow participants to get to know different education systems and gain international experience.
