FACULTY OF PHARMACY STRATEGIC GOALS AND ACTIVITY AREAS (2024–2027)

  • For every 25 students, one full-time teaching staff member.
  • Achieving the target of one full-time academic staff member for every 30 students by 2027.
  • Maintaining the current number of technicians at 4 and keeping it stable at a level sufficient per student.
  • Conducting all activities within the scope of the faculty’s duties and responsibilities on a commission basis.
  • Ensuring that the established commissions carry out their work according to their schedules and report when necessary.
  • Disseminating and strengthening the culture of quality assurance and ensuring stakeholder participation in processes.
  • Updating the curriculum and teaching methods in line with today’s technological requirements.
  • Admitting residents to the Clinical Pharmacy Specialization Program within the scope of the Pharmacy Specialization Examination by the end of 2027.
  • Continuing the implementation of virtual education programs initiated in collaboration with Monash University in our courses.
  • Increasing the number of Erasmus partner universities by at least one by 2027.
  • Establishing at least one Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) collaboration by 2027.
  • Producing multidisciplinary studies and comprehensive projects, participating in such projects, and publishing the outcomes in reputable national and international journals.
  • Identifying priority areas in university-supported scientific research projects and encouraging research to be conducted in these areas.
  • Developing projects with DÜAGEM.
  • Organizing meetings in needed areas to increase consultancy services for different sectors.
  • Identifying at least two patient service–themed project topics and implementing them with student participation.
  • Teaching scientific publication writing through graduation projects.
  • Initiating actions to eliminate deficiencies in laboratory infrastructure.
  • Ensuring the continuity of international congresses organized within our faculty and increasing the number of participants.
  • Organizing training programs for pharmacists in cooperation with the Turkish Pharmacists’ Association and Chambers of Pharmacists.
  • Contributing to society through social responsibility projects.
  • Reaching all segments of society on rational drug use or pharmacy-related issues to inform them and prevent misinformation.
  • Organizing continuous educational activities on proper drug use in cooperation with municipalities, NGOs, and student unions, and conducting studies on pharmaceutical waste within the scope of sustainability.
  • Monitoring student communities and their social, cultural, and sports activities.
