2025–2026 Academic Year Summer Term Apprenticeship Applications (Updated)

You can access the details, forms, and documents related to the 2025–2026 academic year summer apprenticeship below.

The original copies of the documents required for apprenticeship applications must be submitted in person to Laboratory Technician Emine ÇAKIR at least 15 days before the apprenticeship start date. Documents sent by cargo must arrive at the school at least 15 days before the apprenticeship start date. Applications submitted via email will DEFINITELY not be accepted.

  • Students who will complete a pharmacy apprenticeship may start their apprenticeship no earlier than 15.06.2026 and must complete it before the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year fall semester courses.
  • Students who will complete apprenticeship in state hospitals may start their apprenticeship no earlier than 06.07.2026 and must complete it no later than 05.09.2026.
  • All apprenticeship must be completed before the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year fall semester courses.
  • Students enrolled in summer school cannot do apprenticeship while summer school is ongoing.
  • All apprenticeship applications must be completed by 19.06.2026 regardless of the apprenticeship start date.

Documents sent to the school by cargo must be placed in a sealed envelope and addressed “For the Attention of Emine ÇAKIR.”

Note: Students who have completed the normal ten-semester period and who can graduate by the end of the 2026–2027 fall semester at the latest may apply for the 5th year, 2nd semester apprenticeship.

Points to consider when selecting an apprenticeship site for Pharmacy Practice:

  • All students must comply with the school’s apprenticeship regulations.
  • The supervising pharmacist of the pharmacy where the apprenticeship will be completed must have at least 5 years of community pharmacy experience.
  • The pharmacy where the apprenticeship will be completed must have an agreement with SGK (Social Security Institution).
  • The supervising pharmacist of the pharmacy must not be related to the student.
  • Students whose pharmacy does not operate on Saturdays must extend their apprenticeship period to compensate for the missing days when planning apprenticeship dates. Likewise, the apprenticeship period must be extended for public or religious holidays that coincide with working days. The essential requirement is the completion of 20 working days.
  • Attendance and compliance with institutional working hours are mandatory for all apprenticeships.

Points to consider when selecting an apprenticeship site for Hospital Pharmacy Practice:

  • All intern students must comply with the school’s apprenticeship regulations.
  • Updated documents and the apprenticeship notebook are available on the school’s website.
  • The hospital where the apprenticeship will be completed must have a pharmacy managed by at least one pharmacist.
  • Saturdays and holidays cannot be counted as apprenticeship days. The apprenticeship must be extended by the number of days lost due to holidays.
  • Attendance and compliance with institutional working hours are mandatory for all apprenticeships.
  • If requested by the hospital, the student must obtain a medical board report or a single-physician report and submit it to the hospital. Please contact your hospital before starting the apprenticeship.
  • Before starting the apprenticeship at the hospital, you are required to obtain a Basic Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Training Certificate.
