Our Faculty, which started its academic life in the 2016-2017 academic year, strives for excellence in dental education and research globally and in Türkiye. With its dynamic, innovative and researcher academic staff, our faculty aims to educate the bright dentists of the new century who have self-confidence, have a broad perspective on life, are compatible with the information and technology age, have a developed understanding of professionalism and ethics, have questioning, analytical, scientific and emotional intelligence. Although we are a relatively young faculty of dentistry, we are very happy to see that our faculty has institutionalized, rooted and established itself as a tradition. We are extraordinarily proud of our academics, alumni and administrative staff for their significant contributions to improving health and well-being in the communities we serve since our establishment. Our graduates have shown great success in the specialization exam in Dentistry. Our academicians are visionary individuals with modern knowledge and skills who are competent in their fields on national and international platforms. Our professors make a great contribution to the science of dentistry and Turkish Higher Education with their continuing education and high standard research.
Our faculty offers 30% English and 70% Turkish education. Our faculty is a member of the European Dental Education Association and keeps up to date with the innovations in dental education. Located in Bakırköy Health Campus, our faculty operates with the Oral and Dental Health Practice and Research Center on an area of 40,000 m². Our students are provided with an applied and student-oriented education approach in small groups, international patient safety standards and education opportunities in a multicultural environment.
Together with all our academicians, we continue to work with great effort to maintain and improve undergraduate and graduate education above the standards with the philosophy of lifelong learning.

Together with our esteemed academics working in our faculty, we strive to educate well-rounded individuals. We continuously renew and develop our academic programs to provide future physicians with a solid foundation in clinical skills and critical thinking. In our faculty, which adopts a student-centered approach in education, while learning various theoretical and methodological perspectives in the classroom, preclinical training in phantom laboratories is followed by clinical training under the guidance of young and dynamic faculty members. Thus, our students gain practical experience while developing their competencies and contribute to the science of dentistry by conducting various research studies.
