Practical Training Experience for Sainte Pulcherie High School Students at Altınbaş University

As part of the collaboration between Altınbaş University and Sainte Pulcherie High School, Sainte Pulcherie High School students visited Altınbaş University's Mahmutbey Campus during the week. Hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the program gave students the opportunity to get a close look at university life and gain academic experience through hands-on training.

Thanks to workshops and laboratory work organized with the guidance of expert academics in their fields, students put their theoretical knowledge into practice and observed scientific processes firsthand. During the day-long events, students gained comprehensive information about both university education and the fields of engineering and technology.

In addition, Altınbaş University Research Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Kaygusuz gave a presentation to students titled “Sustainability in Science.”

As part of the program, students:

Conducted mechanical and electromagnetism experiments in the Physics Laboratory,

Performed titration and distillation applications in the Chemistry Laboratory,

Explored electric vehicle, UAV, and autonomous vehicle design, as well as three-dimensional production and testing processes in the Electric Vehicle Workshop,

and in the Civil Engineering Laboratory, the opportunity to closely examine concrete strength and mechanical tests.

Altınbaş University continues to bring young people together with science and technology and contribute to their academic and professional development within the scope of high school-university collaborations.
