8th General Assembly of the Balkan University Union Was Held
The 8th General Assembly Meeting of the Balkan Universities Association (BUA), of which Altınbaş University became a member in 2023, was held. At the meeting Altınbaş University’s Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Argun Karacabey signed the BUA Charter.
The 8th General Assembly Meeting of the Balkan Universities Association (BUA), the largest higher education association in the region, where Trakya University is a Permanent Board Member and Permanent Secretary General, was hosted by the University of Tirana.
During the meeting, candidate universities were introduced and agreements were signed for the participation of members, including Altınbaş University, which was accepted to the union at last year's General Assembly meeting.
At the meeting, where the number of BUA members increased to 101, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Argun Karacabey attended the BUA Charter signing ceremony and signed the agreement on behalf of Altınbaş University, which was entitled to become a BUA member at the 2023 Tuzla meeting.
The 2025 general assembly meeting, where the University of Montenegro was unanimously elected as BUA president for the year 2025, ended with a souvenir photo session.
