Altınbaş University Offers Free Psychological Counseling and Guidance Support to Students in the Earthquake Zone

Altınbaş University is carrying out a meaningful collaboration with the Elbistan Municipality Study Center.

As part of this collaboration, Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PDR) tests developed by the university and based on scientific principles have been made available free of charge to students at the Study Center.

This initiative, which will be implemented at the Elbistan Municipality Study Center, where students have been preparing for exams in a family-like atmosphere since its opening, aims to help students better understand themselves, discover their strengths, and make informed academic and career plans.

17 Different Tests, Multi-Dimensional Guidance Support  

The guidance inventories, developed by Altınbaş University and offered free of charge, cover a wide range of areas, including exam anxiety, career orientation, learning styles, work behaviors, and multiple intelligences. The application set, consisting of a total of 17 different tests, aims to support students' academic performance as well as their psychological and personal development.

The tests included in the application include:
Test for Test Anxiety, Career Orientation and Career Aptitude Tests, Problem Screening Inventory, Study Behavior Test, Multiple Intelligence Inventory, and Learning Styles Test. 

Contributing to Equal Opportunities in Education  

Through this collaboration, Altınbaş University aims to strengthen students' psychological resilience and future planning, not just their academic abilities, especially in the aftermath of the earthquake. The project, carried out in collaboration between the university and local government, stands out as an important example of a social responsibility approach that prioritizes equal opportunities in education.

The Elbistan Municipality Study Center goes beyond merely preparing students for exams; it continues to contribute to their academic, social, and personal development by providing a safe and supportive learning environment where students can express themselves.
