Cooperation protocol with Iran's most established university
Altınbaş University, which continues to make a difference in healthcare, has signed a cooperation protocol with the University of Medical Sciences, one of Iran's most established higher education institutions in the field of healthcare.
The Rector of Iran University of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nader Tavakoli, and faculty members Prof. Dr. Omid Moradi Moghaddam and Prof. Dr. Mehdi Moghtadaei visited our university and obtained detailed information about our Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, and our Vocational School of Health Services. The delegation also conducted inspections at our Bakırköy Health Campus and participated in the protocol signing ceremony held at the Mahmutbey Campus on the second day of the visit.
The protocol signed between our Board of Trustees Chairman İmam Altınbaş and Rector Prof. Dr. Nader Tavakoli aims to facilitate student and academic staff exchanges, the development of educational and teaching materials, the establishment of joint scientific and cultural centres, and the implementation of short- and long-term internship programmes and scientific and educational applications between the two universities.
Iranian delegation gives Altınbaş University top marks
Following the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tavakoli, Rector of the University of Medical Sciences, made a statement noting that the Altınbaş University campuses they had inspected had excellent infrastructure, saying, “We particularly liked the infrastructure of the Dental Hospital. We also view your collaboration with a chain hospital in a positive light. We would be pleased to see Iranian and Turkish doctors working together under this collaboration. Iran’s best doctors can work alongside the faculty here to apply current treatments. We would very much like to carry out joint projects.”
İmam Altınbaş: ‘We are very open to different collaborations’
Our Board of Trustees Chairman Imam Altınbaş also emphasised that they would be pleased to collaborate with a well-established university such as the University of Medical Sciences, saying, "We hope to establish wonderful collaborations in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, health sciences and health services. We are open to collaborations not only in the field of health but also in areas such as engineering, business, and economics with higher education institutions that you will guide us towards.”
