It is with deep sorrow that we have learned of the passing of Mr. Ali Altınbaş, Founding Chairman of the Board of Trustees of our University, Honorary Chairman of Altınbaş Holding, esteemed businessman and philanthropist.
Mr. Ali Altınbaş, who has touched the lives of countless people with his unique contributions to education and social life, has left an important mark on Turkish Higher Education life with Altınbaş University, which he founded.
Mr. Ali Altınbaş, who played a role in thousands of young people taking firm steps towards a bright future, will always be remembered for his visionary leadership and people-oriented approach.
We wish God's mercy to the deceased and condolences and patience to all his loved ones, especially the Altınbaş family, his relatives, the business world and the university community.
The funeral of the late Mr. Ali Altınbaş will be buried in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery on Tuesday, July 01, 2025, after the funeral prayer to be performed following the afternoon prayer at Zincirlikuyu Mosque.
May his place be in heaven and his soul rest in peace...
