Altınbaş University at the 3rd Research Deaneries Workshop

The 3rd Research Deaneries Workshop organized by Düzce University Research Deanery was held with the participation of research deaneries of 10 universities in Türkiye.

The opening speech of the event hosted by Düzce University was made by Düzce University Rector Prof. Dr. Nedim Sözbir. In his speech, he emphasized the contribution and importance of having research deanships in universities.

In the workshop, suggestions for the expansion of the Research Dean's Office in Türkiye and academic incentives, scientific research projects and fund management issues were discussed.

It was also mentioned that a report on Research Deanships will be prepared to present to YÖK at the workshop to be held at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University next year.

The Dean of Research from Altınbaş University, the only foundation university at the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Hakan Kaygusuz made a presentation introducing our university and gave detailed explanations about research projects.

The workshop was also attended by many other universities from across Türkiye. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaköse, Istanbul Technical University Research Dean Prof. Dr. İsmail Serdar Özoğuz, Kütahya Dumlupınar University Research Dean Prof. Dr. Hilmi Yurdakul, Sakarya University Research Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emiroğlu and Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Zeki Bayramoğlu also took part in the workshop.
