Fall Semester Closing Celebration with Our First-Year Nursing Students
Bakırköy CampusA end-of-semester celebration was held with the first-year Nursing students at the end of the 2025–2026 academic year fall semester. Students who had just begun their nursing education had the opportunity throughout the fall semester to become acquainted not only with the fundamental knowledge and skills of the profession but also with a human-centered, ethical, and socially responsible approach to nursing.
Through theoretical and practical courses, our students learned the core principles of the nursing profession and gained awareness of teamwork, communication, and professional responsibility, in addition to patient care. This process made a significant contribution to shaping students’ perspectives on the nursing profession and strengthening their professional motivation.
Following the completion of the fall semester, students and faculty members came together for the celebration event. Various games were played, and a semester-end cake was cut as part of the event. The celebration, held in a warm and enjoyable atmosphere, strengthened communication among students and reinforced solidarity within the department.
We wish our students, who have taken their first steps into the nursing profession, continued success in the spring semester and affirm our commitment to guiding them throughout their professional development journey.
