Student Council
The Student Council aims to strengthen the connection between university administration and students, facilitating the participation of students in university governance. The President of the Student Council shares the views and suggestions of all students with the university administration in University Board of Trustees and Senate meetings.
The goal of our Student Council is to contribute to meeting the social, academic, and cultural needs of our university students and to strengthen communication among students in planning activities based on common perspectives.
In the Student Council Elections, held between November 24-26, 2021 for Department/Program Representatives, on December 1, 2021 for Faculty and School Representatives, and on December 3, 2021 for the Student Council Board and Audit Board, members were elected to serve between 2021-2023.
In accordance with Article 11 (1) of the Higher Education Institution Student Council Regulation dated 13.06.2020 ("The student representative of the unit determined according to the alphabetical order of the faculty/school names of the higher education institution takes over the Presidency of the Student Council."), Emre Dedemli, Faculty of Dentistry Representative, was appointed as the Student Council President.
