About the Department
Following the vision of adding value to global science, Altınbaş University aims to raise individuals who can make innovative, distinctive and quality contributions to the modern world. Foreign language education has great importance for our students to obtain global knowledge, use this knowledge, communicate and practice their professions in the international arena.
As Modern Languages Department, besides academic written and oral communication English classes and vocational English, in line with our university vision, we offer opportunities to learn a second, even a third foreign language with German, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian classes.
Apart from Turkish Language and Turkish Communication classes for our Turkish students, we support Turkish language and culture with Turkish for Foreigners classes for our international students.
The courses in Modern Languages Department are designed with an ESP or EAP focus in accordance with the Bologna Process, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ), taking into account the needs of the faculties.
