We cordially invite you to present your paper/poster/tutorial or participate in the ICEMIS 2018 on or before 3 February 2018. The presented papers will be included in the ACM, SCOPUS and Google Scholar. The International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2018 (ICEMIS'18) will take place in Altınbaş University, Istanbul, Turkey, 19 - 21 June, 2018. In addition, the ICEMIS'18 includes sessions and different tracks such as Computing, Cloud and Big Data, IoT, Smart Cities and Green Technologies, Information Technology, Applied Engineering, Bioinformatics, MIS, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Telecommunications and Control Engineering, Electronics and other tracks.
Journal Special Issues
Selected papers from the will be invited to submit an extended version to the following journal. Papers will be selected based on their reviewers’ scores and appropriateness to the Journal’s theme.

Doctoral Qualifying Exam Guidelines
The doctoral qualifying exam consists of two parts: written and oral exams.
The subjects that are going to be covered in the written exam this semester are given below, along with related reference books. At the exam, a question sheet containing one question for each subject will be handed to the student. Each student must answer FOUR questions. Engineering Mathematics is compulsory; i.e., every student must attempt to answer that question. Among the remaining eight subjects, each student will choose THREE subjects DURING THE EXAM, indicate the subjects he/she chose on the exam sheet, and solve those questions. Calculators are allowed. We expect at least three questions to be answered correctly. If the student passes the written exam, he/she will be allowed to take the oral exam. If the student fails the written exam, he/she has to take the written exam next semester.
The written exam will be held on 22-26 January 2018(the exact day will be announced soon) and the oral exam will be held within 3 weeks (until 16 February 2018), by a committee of faculty members whose expertise is in the student’s intended area of research. In the oral exam, the committee asks questions related to the areas that
(a) the student chose in his/her written exam,
(b) are related to the student’s intended area of research.
